1. Introduction

BlueMind Software (“BlueMind,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the BlueMind platform, a construction management dashboard for residential trade contractors, accessible at bluemind.lol. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service, and explains the rights available to you regarding your data.

By accessing or using BlueMind, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Data Controller

3. Definitions

Personal Data: Any information that identifies or can identify you as an individual.
Processing: Any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use, and deletion.
Service: The BlueMind platform and all features accessible at bluemind.lol.
User: Any individual who creates an account and accesses the Service.
Business Data: Jobs, invoices, customers, employees, inventory, and financial records entered by the User.
Third-Party Services: External APIs and services used to deliver specific features of the platform.

4. Information We Collect

Account Data

Your name, email address, and hashed password when you register. If you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Business Data

All records you create within the platform, including job details, invoice amounts, customer contact information, employee records and timesheets, inventory items, and financial data. This data belongs to you. We process it solely to provide the Service.

Usage Data

We do not use third-party analytics services. Server-side error logs are retained temporarily for debugging and are not linked to individual user profiles.

5. How We Use Your Information

To provide the Service: We authenticate your account, display your data, and deliver all platform features.
To generate invoices and reports: We process your Business Data to produce financial summaries, tax estimates, and PDF exports.
To deliver AI features: We pass relevant content to third-party AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) when you use the AI Assistant or Blueprint analysis features.
To maintain security: We log authentication events and detect unusual access patterns.
To communicate with you: We send transactional emails such as email verification and password resets via our email provider.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your Business Data to train AI models. We do not share your data with advertisers.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

Contractual necessity: Processing your data is required to deliver the Service you signed up for.
Legitimate interest: Server-side error logging and security monitoring are necessary to maintain platform integrity.
Consent: Google OAuth sign-in is optional. You may register with email and password instead.

7. Third-Party Services

BlueMind uses the following third-party services to deliver specific features. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data it receives.

8. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (Settings, then Account, then Delete Account), all Personal Data and Business Data associated with your account is permanently removed from our systems. Financial records older than three years are automatically archived and purged per our data retention schedule. Server error logs are rotated and deleted after 30 days.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data:

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate data.
Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the platform, or by contacting us directly.
Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Withdrawal of consent: Disconnect Google OAuth at any time from the Account section in Settings.

10. Data Security

All data is stored on private, self-hosted hardware accessible only through an encrypted Cloudflare Tunnel (TLS). Authentication uses JSON Web Tokens (JWT) with industry-standard hashing for passwords. We do not store data in third-party cloud databases. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@bluemind.lol and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves, particularly during the beta period. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
